2016 iREx Summer Intern and B.Sc. student, McGill University and University of British Columbia

Michelle is in her final year as a physics and astronomy undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia. She will be starting her master’s degree in astronomy in September, also at UBC.

Her research interests lie heavily in the field of exoplanets and planetary habitability. For her undergraduate thesis, she has been searching for and characterizing new exoplanet candidates in data from NASA’s Kepler Mission. She is very excited to be a part of the iREx team.
