Maude Larivière

2021 Trottier Summer Intern and B.Sc. student at McGill University

Maude is completing her second year in Honours Physics at McGill University. Her passion for astrophysics started during her first year in CÉGEP. She has been working at Mont-Mégantic National Park for the past two summers, first as a guide in astronomy, then as a project leader where she had the opportunity to work on a project targeting the reduction of light pollution within the International Dark-Sky Reserve.

Her first astrophysics project was on developing a way to compare Sagittarius A*  flaring characteristics obtained through observations to those obtained through simulations. This summer, she enthusiastically joins the iREx team as a Trottier Intern. She will be working with David Lafrenière.
