Marie-Eve is currently an undergraduate physics student at Université de Montréal. She is completing a second internship with the team and is supervised by Etienne Artigau.
During her 2015 summer internship within the iREx team, she has looked for potential L brown dwarf candidates and giant exoplanets from the 2MASS survey. The method consisted in finding substellar stars’ companions with a separation of 2 to 10 arcseconds, to determine their color and to observe a common proper motion.
