Jacob Kennedy

2021 Summer Intern and B.Sc. student at McGill University

Jacob is a third-year Honours Physics student at McGill University. His primary research interests are astrophysics and cosmology and is hoping to pursue graduate studies in these disciplines. Over the past year he has worked in a 21-cm cosmology lab, focusing on characterizing soil parameters to determine the influence of soil reflection on antenna gain. This summer will be his first experience in exoplanet science and he is looking forward to learn and develop his research skills under the supervision of Prof. Bjorn Benneke.
