Emily Pass

2018 Trottier iREx Summer Intern and B.Sc. student, Waterloo University

Emily is a third year Physics and Astronomy undergraduate student at the University of Waterloo. She was excited to join the iREx team as a 2018 Trottier Summer Intern working with Professor Nicolas Cowan. She had previously held an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Awards and Centre for Planetary Science and Exploration (CPSX) Inter disciplinary Undergraduate Research Award at Western University, where she worked with Dr. Stan Metchev studying Kuiper belt objects. She had also held an NSERC CREATE internship with the New Technologies for Canadian Observatories program, working with Dr. Scott Chapman at Dalhousie University on instrumentation projects and studying galaxy protoclusters.
