Ariane Trudeau received one of the undergraduate Trottier fellowships in 2015 for doing a summer stage at IREx. As part of her stage, she works with professor Pierre Bastien on T Tauri stars and Herbig Ae/Be stars (HAeBe), which are young stars that may possess a protoplanetary disk. More precisely, she studies the polarization of these young stars in the cluster NGC 6611, located not far of the Pillars of Creation in the Eagle nebula (M16).
