iREx astronomers proud to participate to the CASCA-Westar program

iREx astronomers Jason RoweÉtienne Artigau and Marie-Eve Naud are proud to be Canadian Astronomical Society (CASCA) Westar speakers. This program allows Canadian communities who are far from major astronomy research poles to host a CASCA Westar Lecture – a visit by professional astronomer who will share recent discoveries about the universe! The astronomer, depending on their interests and the interests of the hosting community, can offer other free activities such as telescope observations, classroom visits, or astronomy training for teachers.

If you are interested to organize a CASCA-Westar conference in your community or if you have any question, visit CASCA website.
