Astronomy Online

The members of iREx, in collaboration with the Centre de recherche en astrophysique du Québec (CRAQ) are pleased to extend the reach of their public events by organizing ‘Astronomy Online’ sessions that allow you to get a little dose of astronomy with your whole family from the comfort of your living room!

During each Facebook Live event, you will hear an astronomer talk to you about a variety of astronomy-related topics. You will then have the chance to ask our team of astronomers your questions. Finally, we invite you to participate in an interactive online game (using the Kahoot! platform) on an astronomical theme.

These events were born out of a need to keep you connected to our community and astronomy when face-to-face meetings are not possible. Visit this page regularly to learn more about our upcoming sessions! Recordings of most of our sessions will also be available on this page.
