Sabrina just completed the first year of her undergrad studies in Physics at Université de Montréal. She is really enthusiast about the possibility to discover potentially habitable exoplanets.
This summer, thanks to the Trottier summer intern excellence grant, she will do an internship at iREx supervised by the professor René Doyon and the postdoctoral researcher Julien Rameau. She will work mainly on the development of a program that will enable the identification of the spectral type of 51 Eri b, a giant exoplanet discovered by the Gemini Planet Imager in 2015. She will also get familiar with infrared observations through observing missions at Observatoire du Mont-Mégantic.
