Diana Jovmir

2015 iREx Summer Intern and B.Sc. student, McGill University

photo1Diana is studying Math and Physics at McGill University. She has received one of the Trottier fellowships and has done a summer internship at iRex in 2015. She has always been fascinated by the idea that life could exist elsewhere in the universe and is currently working with Prof. Andrew Cummings on the subject of exoplanet atmospheres. As part of her project, she is looking for simple ways to describe clouds that may be present in the atmospheres of known exoplanets, and wondering weather the presence of such clouds could explain the observed transmission spectra of these planets.
